Charles "Chuck" Plimpton Chuck Plimpton is a Las Vegas native having come from a long line of card sharks and casino dealers. Having grown up in this environment, Chuck had a very easy time getting a job as a dealer at a casino during the summers between school and became full-time after graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with an English degree. Shortly thereafter, his high school sweetheart became pregnant and rather than force her to raise the child on her own, he rushed into a marriage with her, using his job as a means of support. Secretly always wanting to be a writer, Chuck has yet to have anything published or even finish a manuscript, and what was cute in his twenties, has now caused his wife to file for divorce, now that their daughter has gone on to higher education from his alma mater. Feeling abandoned and alone he has turned to drinking for support, and met February and Samantha in the process. Though he acknowledges that he destroyed his marriage, he harbors no harsh feelings towards his wife, the love long since departed from their rushed union. More than anything else he just wants to maintain the relationship he has with his daughter, and try to start over. He is currently dating Samantha.
